2019 Mid-Year VCxTM Update

Year to date, Power TakeOff has worked with over 500 SMB customers, achieving an average savings of around 13% and $6,500 per participant. In addition to direct energy savings, the program is able to help businesses continue on the energy efficiency journey by referring them to other energy efficiency programs within a utility’s portfolio to provide a comprehensive experience for the business.

In 2018, Power TakeOff expanded its existing implementation contract with Commonwealth Edison and kicked off work supporting two additional utilities in Southern California, SCE and SDG&E. In this role, Power TakeOff is in a position to fulfill its mission of using low-cost solutions to help businesses reduce costs and mitigate environmental impact. The Virtual Commissioning (VCxTM) Program approaches energy savings by analyzing smart-meter data to identify, predict, and engage customers with poor energy usage.
