Lucky #13, Power TakeOff Celebrates Anniversary with Growth

Founded in 2007, Power TakeOff celebrated the company’s 13th anniversary this summer by expanding our Denver, Colorado and Waterloo, Ontario teams. In many ways we’ve returned to where it all began 13 years ago as a bright eyed startup company working from our basements, bedrooms, and kitchen tables of our homes. The same ambition, passion and mission that the company launched from shines brighter now than ever before as we grow our team.

Although 2020 has brought many unexpected industry challenges, it has also helped to highlight Power TakeOff’s 13 year approach to efficiency through virtual relationship building. We like to say we were “virtual before virtual was cool”. The friendly faces you see above (a small sample size of our fun team) help transform data from reactive information to proactive solutions. Although we like to point to the success of the company’s Virtual Commissioning™ (VCx™) Program over the last four years, there’s no better example to the effectiveness of this model than our recent COVID-19 customer assistance and support efforts with several utilities that have gone on to yield over 10 GWh of actual savings for COVID impacted businesses in the last four months.
